ISS takes part in Say Future Security

On October 24-25, 2018, at the Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy in Moscow, within the framework of the Interpolitech exhibition, a forum “Say Future Security” was held. ISS – Intelligent Security Systems took part in the exhibition and in the “National Security” competition in the “Video Surveillance” nomination, introduced to the commission a video surveillance system for facilities with special requirements for information security based on Linux OS.

The company took share in Say Future Security at the behest of the IT Cluster – Skolkovo, of which the ISS is a resident. The choice of the solution, which ISS demonstrated during the exhibition and submitted to the contest commission, is determined by a high degree of relevance: according to the Government Executive Order (December 22, 2010 No. 2299-p), the federal executive authorities and federal state-funded institutions are obliged to make the transition to using free software.

ISS is the first company that put a software video surveillance platform running under Linux OS – SecurOS Astra, and a software-hardware platform (video server) based on it – SecurOS IVS NVR Industrial Astra on a commercial-rated exploitation.

SecurOS Astra runs under the Astra Linux Special Edition OS (Smolensk release), which ensures the protection level of the processed information up to and including the level of national security information inclusive. The solution is certified for compliance with the requirements of NDV-2 and RDV for work in abandoned segments, meets all the principles of reliability and stability in accordance with the requirements of regulators.

The main consumers of such systems are military-industrial complex enterprises, defense infrastructure and other high security facilities whose information must be effectively protected from threats of unauthorized exposure.

Oleg Kozachok, Director of the Technical Support and Technical Services Department ISS spoke about the benefits of using SecurOS Astra security systems.

The contest commission highly appreciated the relevance of the topic, giving the maximum points to the submitted solution.
