SecurOS 10.2 – new convolutional neural network based face recognition module SecurOS FaceX and local recording support SecurOS Cluster
We would like to present you major developments of the new SecurOS 10.2 release: SecurOS FaceX, a convolutional neural network based face recognition, SecurOS UVSS software module and other updates including SecurOS Cluster local recording support.
Breaking news SecurOS 10.2
Starting with the 10.2 release consumers can use a new convolutional neural network based face recognition
SecurOS FaceX increases the opportunities of video analytics for biometric control ensuring a higher precision of recognition in the variety of environmental conditions (lighting, camera field of view). The module doesn’t depend on “cooperative behavior” of a subject (more tolerant to a face view angle). Some SecurOS FaceX servers can work with a unified face database. The face database’s size is unlimited as well as the number of checklists.
Expansion of the module’s opportunities is planned in following releases. An opportunity to work with several FaceX servers from one operator interface, an ability to perform a retrospective search of subjects by photo, integration with the SecurOS ACS/OPS module including support for multifactor authentication functionality will also be added to the module.
A hardware-software under vehicle surveillance system SecurOS UVSS has received a rebuilt from the ground up software module.
At this version, all core features of the solution are supported:
- Generation of high resolution composite UVSS-image
- Storing searchable history of LPR+UVSS data
- Support of detailed visual inspection of UVSS-image (zoom feature included)
- Visual comparison with a master UVSS-image, earlier saved for the same vehicle (to make detection of foreign objects easier)
SecurOS Cluster technology forms a new reliability standard for the resilient security systems and is supplemented by the recording to local drives attached to physical servers. Now to ensure uninterrupted video archive in failover/failback configurations it isn’t required to have a central storage. During SecurOS Cluster operations a virtual video server can move from one physical server to another. In this case, the video is recorded on the local storage of the physical server on which the virtual video server is currently running. SecurOS Cluster creates a virtual unified recording environment allowing every virtual server to access videos on the storages of all available physical servers. As a result, operators see the archive as continuous, without an interruption.
SecurOS Evidence Manager
A new step towards cybersecurity. Now video exported into Evidence-file format can be encrypted and password protected from unauthorized playback. AES-128, AES-192 and AES-256 encryption algorithms are supported. If a password that was set while exporting video is entered, an encrypted video is played by an autonomous video player SecurOS Evidence Manager.
